How do I rename "Kindergarten", "Pre-School", "3 Year Old Program" labels

EnrolHQ comes with the defaults "Kindergarten" for the first year of Primary school (NSW and ACT terminology) and we often get the question how can I change this to "Prep" for VIC/TAS/QLD, "Reception" for SA and "Pre-Primary" for WA. 

Additionally schools will have school specific names for their Early Learning Centre programs. By default we have "3 Year Old Program" (2 years before Primary school) and "Pre-School" (1 year before Primary school) but we know in other states "Pre-School" is "Kindy" or "Kindergarten" and then schools may want to use specific names such as "ELC", "Pre-K" etc.

To change these to suit your school, you'll need to go to 'Settings' > 'Form Fields' in the main navigation menu

Then in the main section of the page go to the 'Profile' > 'Grade of Entry' field. Quick Note: Inside the staff admin of EnrolHQ we use the word 'Grade' as a generic term to differentiate from 'Year' which refers to calendar year but what parents see will actually be what is chosen on your 'Customisations' page for 'School Grade Label'.

Once you've chosen that, on the right hand side you'll see the labels that can be edited.

Once you've updated the labels, hit Save and you're done. It will be updated across the board wherever the Parent can see a dropdown for the Year Level of entry they want to pick for their child.

To set the Grades your school is accepting enrolments for, you'll need to go to 'Settings' > 'Grade - Year Settings' where you will be able to choose the 'Year of Entry' range that parents can see and also the 'Current School Year Range' (generally set to 'Not Yet at School' to the highest year you accept enrolments for).
